Detta är en för mig tråkig historia. Bakgrunden är att jag initialt delade med mig av en del material som nog var ganska viktigt för denna rapports framtagande (kanske 100 timmars arbete) men inte ens är omnämnd. Min gode vän Tosh Ushino med fru Kyoko (i Californien) översatte en mängd kliniska rapporter från japanska till engelska. Jag sammanställde detta omfattande material dag för dag och såg till att ett halvdussin grafer ritades upp som rörde vita blodkroppar, feber, blodtryck, och puls. Vidare delgav jag frikostigt en text (ca 10 sidor) som rörde både kärntekniska aspekter på den här typen av olyckor (jag har arbetat med strålskydd och haveriberedskap sedan 1984 och gör det fortfarande) samt kliniska sidor av akuta strålskador inkl. sådant som rörde denna olycka. En av personerna i sammanhanget fick ta del av allt material jag hade - det tar faktiskt tid att söka och sortera ut information. Jag fick betalt för 10 timmars avrapportering (300 kr/timme) av ett möte om olyckan i Tokaimura (Los Angeles, jan/febr, 2000) men det var en punktinsats utöver det andra tidigare. Därefter delgavs aldrig någon information i motsatta riktningen - inga kallelser till arbetsmöten eller liknande.
Säkert tillkom senare avsevärt med information som de berörda kunnat köpa sig till tack vare betalda jobb för detta samt motsvarande anslag. Detta gjorde att vissa initiala informationer senare fått revideras men det förtar säkert inte det strategiska värdet av det jag kunde ge initialt. Ett minimum av etiskt förhållningssätt hade varit att informera mig ordentligt så vi hade kunnat fortsätta att arbeta som ett lag.
Jag ser Socialstyrelsen som oskyldig till det inträffade. Jag skulle kunna utveckla en del av mina observationer i mer detalj men då skulle uppenbar konflikt uppstå på basis av Personupplysningslagen (PUL). Sammanfattningsvis känner jag mig brutalt utnyttjad och också nedtrampad från ett håll (elaka uttalanden mm - det har hänt ett flertal gånger). Jag kommer aldrig att göra på motsvarande sätt mot en annan människa.
